Godovan Vladlena Volodymyrivna belongs to one of the leading Odessa Scientific School of Pharmacologists and Clinical Pharmacologists in Ukraine, headed by Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine, Professor V. I. Kresyun. Vladlena Volodymyrivna occupies a prominent place in it – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of Science and Technology. The main areas of scientific activity are research and preclinical study of new highly effective and safe biologically active substances based on natural metabolites of the human body, including coordination compounds of germanium with bioligands; development of hepatoprotectors in the field of clinical pharmacology, pharmacogenetic aspects of efficacy and safety of pharmacotherapy. Member of the Council of the All-Ukrainian public organization “Association of Pharmacologists of Ukraine”, secretary of its Odessa department, Member of the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR), employee of the State Expert Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, member of the editorial board of the scientific journal “Pharmacology and Toxicology” ect.
She is an author of more than 440 scientific papers, including 6 monographs, 74 textbooks, manuals, 42 patents of Ukraine and copyright certificates, more than 35 guidelines, innovations.
